Two-lane Corydoras or Arched Corydoras (Cori), Skunk Cory, scientific name Corydoras arcuatus, belongs to the Callichthyidae family. The natural habitat covers almost the entire upper reaches of the Amazon River with its many tributaries in Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Ecuador. This vast habitat has resulted in many subspecies of the Arched Cory, with minor morphological differences. However, in the aquarium trade, all these catfish are presented under one common name.

Adult individuals reach a length of about 5 cm. A distinctive feature of the species is a wide dark stripe on a light background, which begins at the mouth, stretches through the eyes along the upper body and bends to the lower part of the base of the tail. It turns out something like an arch. Corydoras Meta also has a similar color, which is why they are often confused. Sexual dimorphism is weakly expressed, it is problematic to distinguish between male and female.
