Afiosemion Lönnberg, scientific name Aphyosemion loennbergii, belongs to the family Nothobranchiidae (Notobranchiaceae). The fish is named after the Swedish zoologist Einar Lönnberg. Rarely found in aquariums and almost unknown outside of its habitat.

Afiosemion Lönnberg is rarely found in aquariums, largely due to breeding difficulties. In an artificial environment, these fish give a very small number of offspring or do not breed at all. Meanwhile, the content is relatively simple.

For two or three fish, you will need an aquarium with a volume of 40 liters or more. The design should provide for a large number of aquatic plants, including floating ones. The soil is soft dark, covered with a layer of foliage, branches, snags.

A comfortable habitat is soft, slightly acidic water with a temperature in the range of 18–22°C.

It is important not to use powerful filters to avoid excessive flow. The best choice would be a simple airbrush filter with a sponge as the filter material.

Aquarium maintenance is standard and consists of such mandatory procedures as weekly replacement of part of the water with fresh water and removal of accumulated organic waste.
